Admission to Govt. Jinnah Islamia College, Sialkot for male students only is by applications or online process. Forms may be obtained from the College Office during working hours. The College follows the policy of Govt. of the Punjab and reserves the right to apply its own admission criteria approved by college council strictly following the line of direction of public sector institutions. Whereas the decision by the College Council shall stand final and students are admitted on the basis of academic record, personal qualities and promise of contribution to society.
All students are required to sign an undertaking to fulfill College requirements both in conduct and in study. There are no casual or part time students. Applicants should carefully select their subject combination, as no change is allowed after the stipulated period of one month.
Entrance Requirements Only those candidates who have passed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination in the Fresh 1st Annual/2nd Annual with at least 60% marks in Faculty of Science, Computing & Information Technology and 50% marks in other faculties will be eligible to apply for admission. An affidavit, on judicial paper worth Rs.100/-, shall have to be attached to this effect that the candidate has not taken admission in any institution/college. The students of ‘O’ Level may also apply for admission with original equivalence certificate issued by Govt. of Pakistan Inter Board Committee Chairman (IBCC), Islamabad. The students who have passed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination from other than Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Gujranwala shall have to enclose original No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of admission forms.
Admission Forms
Application for admission may be submitted to online to Govt. Jinnah Islamia College, Sialkot website and hard copy must be submitted by hand to the admission office within the prescribed time notified by the admission office. No Admission Form shall be accepted after the expiry of the last date for submission of Admission Forms except with the special permission of the Principal or Admission Committee.
Documents Verification & Admission Offer
The candidate has to bring his father/guardian at the time of submission of Admission of Form. After the completion of all formalities pertaining to admission, admission is offered.

Deposit of Fee
The candidate will have to submit his fee on prescribed Challan Form in the prescribed Bank who fail to deposit their dues within due date will forfeit their right to admission.

A candidate and his/her guardians are required to sign an undertaking to fulfil College requirements both in conduct and in the study. There are no casual or part-time students.
Entrance Requirements Only those candidates who have passed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Examination up to 02 years late in their annual examination with at least 45% marks will be eligible to apply for admission, with no more than 21 years of age. An affidavit, on judicial paper worth Rs.100/-, shall have to attach to this effect that the candidate has not taken admission in any institution/college. The students of “O/A” Level may also apply for admission.
Admission Forms
Application for admission may be submitted online to Govt. Jinnah Islamia College, Sialkot website and hard copy must be submitted by hand to the concerned department within the prescribed time notified by the BS Coordination office. No Admission Form shall be accepted after the expiry of the last date. The copies of following documents shall have to attach with admission form.
Display of Merit Lists
After the due date of submission of form, BS Coordination office displays merit lists, prepared by the concerned faculty, on the notice board of college. There are fifty (50) seats offered in each department and equally divided among male and female candidates according to merit formula. The candidate who comes up to merit, contacts concerned department for further procedure.
Documents Verification & Admission Offer
The candidate has to bring his father/guardian at the time of documents verification with following documents in original.
After the completion of all formalities pertaining to admission, admission is offered.
