Social Science deals with the human behavior and socio-cultural aspects of the society. Social Sciences cover a wide range of subjects including Economics, Education, History and Pakistan Studies, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology and Sociology. Some of these departments under Faculty of Social Sciences are providing the source of learning the social and cultural context, relation of education to social orders, studying the histories of different countries of the world, national and international context of the politics and relations, economics of the country and society and human behavior.

Our faculty has drawn together a diverse group of social scientists who are inspired and nurtured and committed not only to nurture students but to the development of the region and the world. It comprises four departments which offer intermediate and undergraduate programmes. The Faculty of Social Sciences plays a key role at the heart of the College. The interdisciplinary general education courses offered through the department emphasize the cultivation of critical skills (in reading, writing and thinking) that provides students with a firm basis for success in their academic careers.
